11 Days

I was finally able to do something tangible today. This whole week has been about sitting in class and attending mini-lectures on the courses we are taking for our individual course work. While I know it is required, it's not been hard to feel the impatience of the rest for our impending departure.

So, when the opportunity to use my hands to actuaaly do something, I was elated. What did I make? I learned to make corsages, a bud vase and various different bows for other specific projects yet to complete. I have to say the time in the floral design lab was a bit cathartic and definitely needed to help refill my internal energy and drive.

I'm looking forward to doing another marathon creative jaunt into the floral design realm, but that will have to wait until next week.
