As a traveling group today we put together our the survival kits we are going to be using and desparetly appreciative of when we come across instances in which we will be scrounging for comfort items.
Our list includes:
- Bath Towel (we will not be provided with one throughout our stays in Ireland and England. Can you imagine traveling without one?)
- Toothpaste (has to be 3.4 ounces or smaller simply because of the damn TSA)
- Hand Sanitizer (need I say more)
- Laundry Detergent (in double ziplock bags)
- Poncho (sometimes the rain comes down sideways in Ireland)
- Clothesline (30 feet; so washed out clothes can dry out over night)
- Tissues
- Vitamin C (in a ziplock bag)
- Cotton Swabs (about 10)
- Earplugs (3-4 pairs)
- Toothpicks
- Flatware (in a ziplock bag)
- Sandwich Bags (20-25)
- Plastic Bags (quart size, for airport)
- Brit. Lit. Book (which is a compilation of place reports done by the other travels and myself)
- Passport Bag
