The TSA requires any traveler to slim down the amount of items they take with them on the airplane, and those items are not just contained to clothing. Each traveler is only allow a 1-qt. plastic bag in which no more than 3.5 oz bottles can be placed. This means that for an entire month, I've got to pack one bottle of shampoo that is only 3.5 oz., one bottle that is 3.5 oz., and any other liquid that I might need can only be.....3.5 oz. This frustrated me, but determined, I went to task to see if I could wittle down what I usually think I need. So, here it is. This is what I've decided to take: toothpaste (gotta have that), deodorant (need I say more), shampoo and conditioner, handsanitizer, sunscreen (don't want to burn), chapstick, foundation, powder, mascarra, and tinted lipgloss. Those last four are for the purpose of maintaining my vanity. Surprisingly, all of these items fit into my perscribed 1-qt. bag. Go figure, maybe I might be able to survive on a lot less rather than what I thought I'd need.
