Today is an extended today in my on- campus classes. Along with the regular 9 am to 4 pm all day classes, I have to stay for a group activity that will bring me home by 9 pm. (sigh) I'm having a hard time juggling the time I need to spend with my family and the time I need to spend in order to be prepared for the trip.
Along with those two demands comes the battling emotions of both resenting and loving the two players on either end of the tug of war rope.
As an example, I dropped off my youngest with his babysitter a little after 8 am this morning, fought for a parking spot on campus, ran to the first a many classes for the day, finished with classes around 4 pm, drove home like a bat from you know, picked up my two yougest (my neighbor is taking my kindergartener to the babysitter for me when she finishes with the her school day) from the babysitter, went home to put away folded clothing set out on my couch and clean up dishes in the sink, drove to pick up another babysitter, brought her back, then drove back to campus to attend one last additional class from 5:30 to 9 pm.
Here's my question, when is the madness going to end? I set myself up for this one, I know, but I miss my family and I also just want to go and experience things that I'll never again have to chance to do.
I'm thinking that I might need the chocolate and Dr. Pepper that I have been avoiding for the last three weeks!
More to come.

I agree, ugg. I just wanted to let you know that I have been reading your posts. I get them through my email so I don't have to be on your blog. Sucks for comments sake! But I wanted to comment anyway, I know I like them. Good luck with your long days!
Thanks Sarah, I appreciate that. How is your training going?
